In these times where technology, industrialization, and economy spell the word for modernization, there’s another trend that’s also appropriate to associate it with, which is population growth. World population is estimated to be more than six billion and counting. The statistics of 2009 tells that 353,015 births are occurring per day all over the world. In the CIA World Fact Book of 2006, the youth (15 years old and below) is estimated to comprise the 27% of the total world population; just imagine how many lives the world is counting each day and how that youth composition would be at this very moment.

This is just telling us the fact that we’re living in an era where the younger generation is dominating, not to mention increasing concerns about early pregnancy among youth and shorter life expectancy in most countries. Given these facts, we can assume that most of products nowadays are targeted towards better health, easier lifestyle, and of course the needs and wants of youth including toddlers and infants.

We can say that while others focus on establishing retail businesses that cater to teenage and adult customers, we can also be confident about our business that centers on wholesale children and baby products to become successful. It doesn’t matter if concentrates on foods and milks, clothing and accessories, or toys. The important matter is that while the population of children increases, the more caring and protective parents emerge.

We have to rely to fact that all parents want the best for their children; all parents wish to give all their love, support, and care. That’s why an expensive baby monitor or costly educational books aren’t really an issue with parents because spending for their kid’s growth and development is the least they can do to show love and care. A parent can always afford to cut down expenses for themselves but not for their children.

So, if you’re in the children’s product industry, just keep it up and find products that are helpful for your store. Find good wholesalers in your area or in the internet and make them your partners in success.
